The original question
This page used to be an open thread: readers naming dream venues and festivals for a future Daft Punk show - everything from Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage (a fittingly literal match) to a return engagement at Coachella.
With the duo's retirement confirmed in 2021, none of those dream bookings will happen. We're leaving the spirit of the original page intact below as a piece of fan history rather than removing it - a record of how much goodwill and imagination this band generated even between tours.
So we've reopened the question as a fan vote: if Daft Punk played one final show, where should it happen? Pick a location above, then choose the opening track, the encore and the support act.
See where they actually did play in our UK, European, US, and Worldwide tour archives.

Daft Punk's touring history
For a band this famous, Daft Punk played remarkably few shows. There were only two real tours in nearly three decades. Alive 1997 took the Homework material into clubs and festivals, and Alive 2007 followed the unannounced 2006 Coachella set where the LED pyramid first appeared. The live album from that tour, Alive 2007, won a Grammy and is still the standard electronic live shows get measured against.
After that, nothing. Random Access Memories topped charts around the world in 2013 and was never toured. In February 2021 the duo ended Daft Punk with a short film, Epilogue. Explore what happened region by region: the Alive 2007 North American leg, the Paris homecoming, the UK arena tour that never was and the Australia question.
Why fans still imagine one more show
Scarcity is part of it. With so few dates ever played, most fans never had the chance to see the pyramid in person, and the footage that exists has only made those shows more legendary. The rest is the music: One More Time, Around the World and Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger still fill dance floors, and Thomas Bangalter's solo work keeps the duo in the headlines. Nothing suggests a reunion is coming. This vote is a way to picture it anyway.
Build the setlist
After voting on the location, fans answer three quick questions:
- Which track should open the show? The shortlist: Robot Rock, Da Funk, Around the World, Give Life Back to Music, Get Lucky, Aerodynamic.
- Which track should close the show? The shortlist: One More Time, Contact, Around the World, Digital Love, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, Something About Us.
- Who should support Daft Punk? The shortlist: Justice, Air, Phoenix, The Chemical Brothers, Kavinsky, SebastiAn.
