What we collect

If you subscribe to updates, we collect your email address solely to send you archive updates. We use standard analytics to understand which pages are useful - no personally identifying data is sold or shared with third parties.

Fan polls

Votes and answers in our fan polls are stored anonymously: we keep your pick, a random voter ID generated by your browser, the page you voted from and any campaign tags in the link you followed. To stop ballot stuffing we also store a salted, one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself. Suggested locations and free-text answers are reviewed by us before anything is shown publicly, and "Other" answers are never published.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics for anonymous page statistics and Google AdSense to fund the site. Both set cookies. If you visit from the UK or EU, none of this loads until you accept it through the consent banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Full details, including how to manage your choice, are on our Cookies & Consent page. You can also disable cookies in your browser at any time without affecting your ability to read the archive.

Contact

This is an independent fan project. For any privacy concerns, use the subscribe form's unsubscribe link or stop visiting the site - we keep this simple on purpose.
