Across four studio albums, Daft Punk reinvented their sound almost every time out:

• Homework (1997) - raw, sample-driven house and filter-disco that launched "Da Funk" and "Around the World," and the album the Alive 1997 tour was built around.
• Discovery (2001) - a turn toward glossy, vocoded disco-pop, home to "One More Time" and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger," and the album that introduced the robot personas for good.
• Human After All (2005) - a deliberately stark, distorted record, reportedly written in six weeks, that gave Alive 2007 some of its most mechanical, set-friendly material like "Technologic" and "Robot Rock."
• Random Access Memories (2013) - a widescreen, session-musician-driven homage to disco and yacht-rock, home to "Get Lucky" - and, notably, the only one of the four never taken on tour.
